Nebula — Modern Admin Theme for Magento 2 / Mage-OS

Replace Magento's legacy admin theme — bring it into the 21st century.

Nebula modernizes the Magento Admin with a faster interface, cleaner workflows, dark mode, and developer-friendly customization — without forcing you to replace Magento itself. It runs alongside your existing store on Magento 2.4.7+ (or Mage-OS 2.0+) and PHP 8.1+.

This repository is archived and reflects Nebula 0.9.0. Nebula 1.0.0 and later are distributed from qoliber's Composer registry — see Installation below. The qoliber/nebula-admin-theme package on Packagist is no longer maintained.

Installation

Nebula is free. Add it to your account at qoliber.com/nebula-admin.html and a Composer key is issued to you at checkout — there is nothing to pay. Your key is always available under Nebula Keys in your account.

# 1. add the registry
composer config repositories.nebula composer https://composer.qoliber.com/r/nebula

# 2. authenticate with the key from your account
composer config --global --auth bearer.composer.qoliber.com <your-nebula-key>

# 3. install — the metapackage pulls in the whole suite
composer require nebula/admin

bin/magento setup:upgrade
bin/magento setup:di:compile
bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy -f
bin/magento cache:flush

Then activate the Nebula theme under Stores → Configuration → Design (adminhtml), or assign it as the admin theme for your environment.

Nebula is released under the Nebula Community License (NCL) — a source-available license. See LICENSE.md for the full terms.

Source-available is not the same as open source. As stated in the license, the NCL is not an Open Source license as defined by the Open Source Initiative (OSI): the source is published so you can read, audit and modify it for your own store, but redistribution and commercial reuse are restricted.

Nebula is free to use. The cost is zero; the license is not OSI-approved.
